Baseball Celebrity and Barry Bonds Earrings
Sterling silver cross hoop earrings sparkling in a baseball field, Barry Bonds looked up with his right hand pointing to the sky, the way he subconsciously reacts every time he blasts a home run. It is common to wear cross accessories to bless our family. This fashion jewelry is well known as barry bonds earrings later. But Bonds knows that this time is different from the past, and his heart is telling him so.
On
Sunday, Bonds appeared in the San Francisco Giants' away game against Arizona
Diamondbacks, his first game back since the death of his father Bobby. His home
run helped the Giants win 2-1. What worries the giants is that Bonds
experienced an accelerated heart rate during the game. "It was so tough. I
lost my best coach." Bonds was filled with emotion when the elder Bonds,
who had been suffering from lung cancer and a brain tumor for nearly a year,
died on Aug. 23, 2003, and then Bonds missed six games as he went home to
mourn. "After blasting a home run, a sadness made me feel dizzy and I felt
like I couldn't even breathe. I've never been in a situation like that
before."
Bonds
even left the Giants' bench and went back to the locker room to rest because of
the sudden heartbeat increase. According to Giants trainer Stan Conte, Bonds'
heartbeat reached 150-160 beats per minute at the time, compared to a normal
human heartbeat of between 60-100 beats per minute. Bonds felt he had recovered
after the game and will still play in this Monday's game with Diamondbacks.
Still, the Giant appeared cautious, with coach Alou saying, "Bonds had to
deal with too much pressure, and it's not an easy thing for anybody to
do."
Bonds
caught a fastball from Diamondbacks star Randy Johnson in four innings and
blasted it for 403 yards. When running back to home plate, Bonds raised his
right hand. He stared at the sky of the court, as if looking for the old Bonds'
smile. "My father has influenced many people, especially me," Bonds
said. "He has been pushing me forward, and now he is not with me anymore."
When Bonds returned to the Giants' bench a few minutes later, he pressed his baseball
cap low, covering his forehead, and then quickly wiped away tears from his
eyes. However, all the players captured his sadness. Pitcher Williams said,
"You can see the pain in his face." It was Bonds' 40th homer of the
season and his 653rd of his career.
Bonds
